Gamepires is a Zagreb-based game development studio of 65+ people, brought together by a shared belief: the best games are built by people who aren’t afraid to have an opinion. For us, great ideas don’t belong to job titles. They can come from anywhere – from a programmer solving a problem, an artist looking at something differently, a designer questioning a mechanic, or anyone who simply sees a better way to do things. We listen, challenge, experiment and build on each other’s ideas.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We’ve been making games for more than a decade, from the high-octane Gas Guzzlers series to SCUM, our most ambitious project to date. SCUM became a defining chapter in Gamepires’ history, pushing us to tackle complex systems, large-scale multiplayer and a game that continues to evolve alongside its community.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

But we’re not here to stand still. The acquisition of Gamepires by Splash Damage marks a major new chapter in our journey – bringing together two teams with a shared passion for ambitious games and giving us the opportunity to take SCUM further than ever before. Together, we’re building on what we’ve created while opening the door to new ideas, new possibilities and an even bigger future for SCUM.

We’re here to keep making ambitious games, keep challenging ourselves and keep giving people the freedom to make them better.
